Discover traditional dance music from Austria, Sweden, and France in the 18th and 19th centuries and intended for European folk dance balls, called Balfolk. Eight dancers from BalFolk Montreal will share with us their passion for traditional dances such as mazurka, polska and gavotte. Also on the program are compositions by Andrew Wells-Oberegger, inspired by traditional music.
